Alexander Carstens worked in financial services for about a year when he joined EP Wealth Advisors in 2022. Previously, he built experience in the field as an Assistant to an Equitable Financial Advisor. Alexander believes client experiences are the foundation upon which relationships are formed. He’s excited by the opportunity to develop relationships with clients and provide them with the best service possible. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you. Passionate about health and fitness, Alexander includes hiking, bicycling, running and yoga as regular parts of his weekly routine. He’s also a compulsive reader of literary fiction and history, with a book on hand at all times. On nights and weekends, he shares his appreciation for the English language by remotely teaching business English and conversation to professionals in Tokyo through his own business. And he volunteers with Ruckus Roots, a nonprofit organization that seeks to grow awareness of ecology and sustainability among kids in Los Angeles through community-driven art programs. On a musical note, Alexander played tuba for 13 years in polka bands, wind ensembles, quintets and orchestras, and was the principal tubist of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh Wind Ensemble.
