Andy earned an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Andy is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and Certified Public Accountant.

Andy is happily married to his college sweetheart. They and their three children are lifelong Coloradans who enjoy outdoor activities, including skiing and mountain biking. The Thomas family is passionate about the plight of those experiencing homelessness in Denver, and support Bus Stop Ministries, a local organization that serves those in need.
