Jocelyn Black is passionate about financial empowerment through education. She takes a holistic, values-based approach to financial planning, serving as a financial planner, investment manager, life coach, and friend to clients in every life stage. Her mission is to simplify complex financial topics and help clients build confidence as their lives and goals evolve.
Jocelyn began her financial services career in 2004 with Securian Financial and later served as Director of Retirement Plans at Nationwide Financial for Arizona and New Mexico. She is the former owner of ClariFinancial, LLC, a fiduciary firm focused on serving physicians, engineers, and government employees. Known for her dynamic communication style, she has led educational workshops and webinars, contributed to financial media, and appeared as a guest expert on TV and radio.
Jocelyn is a native of Philadelphia and a graduate of Temple University. She is a Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) with a specialization in behavioral finance .
Outside of work, Jocelyn stays active, keeping up with her two teenagers and two rescue dogs. She enjoys hiking, yoga, golf, cooking, baking, and road trips. She’s a fan of musical theater, podcasts, and nonfiction books, and never misses a chance to cheer for her beloved Philadelphia sports teams or enjoy a relaxing beach vacation.
