Rich founded his own wealth management firm, Donnelly Wealth Advisors, Inc., in 1997, and united it with EP Wealth Advisors in 2018. Starting his financial services career in 1981 with one of the largest national firms, Rich has always shared EP Wealth’s belief that wealth should be aligned in such a way that it enables your life, not the other way around. This inspires an approach based not on a single, rigid, financial solution, but on a vital process in which your wealth is always at the service of your life. Rich was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to San Diego in 1973. Rich completed the CFP program in 1988. He has been an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) since 1992. Rich was one of the first in the nation to receive the Certified 401(k) Specialist designation and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Rich received the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation in 1996.” He enjoys spending his free time playing golf, bicycling, hiking, and traveling. Rich is on the board of Guide Dogs of America (GDA) and is a member of their Investment Committee. GDA, through what was Tender Canine Loving Assistance Dogs, trains dogs within the prison system to assist wounded warriors and autistic children. Rich lives in La Jolla with his wife, Joscylen, and son, Brian.
