Since 1992, Brett has managed the wealth and resources for families, business owners, and foundations across the US. After beginning his career with Charles Schwab & Co., in Dallas, he helped launch a Schwab office in Santa Fe, NM. Brett later returned to his hometown of Dallas, where he joined Merrill Lynch as a pioneer in the area of fee-based wealth management. Brett went on to serve as Vice President for True North Advisors, LLC, where he managed nearly $100 million in client assets. Brett partnered with International Research in 2007 to manage and develop both new and existing client relationships, as well as to lead the firm into its next chapter of growth. Brett has achieved the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation through the College for Financial Planning. He enjoys spending time managing their family ranch in Central Texas, and traveling with his wife, Heather, and their five children – each of whom attend college in a different state. Brett is active in the Park Cities YMCA, and Heroes and Horses of Manhattan, Montana.
