Ryan currently wears a lot of hats. He works with clients as an advisor, but also serves as Regional Director – managing the region’s advisory team and taking the lead on community engagement.

Starting out in the investment management industry in 2003, Ryan first worked in operations at Fisher Investments. In 2008, he began doing financial planning with Wacker Wealth Partners. He oversaw the development of the firm’s alternative investment program in 2012, became a partner in 2013 and CEO in 2017, before joining the EP Wealth Advisors family in 2024.

Ryan holds a B.S. degree in Biological Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He obtained most of his CFP® education through the UC Santa Cruz, and received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ credential in 2008.

A lover of the outdoors, especially the ocean and the mountains, Ryan enjoys surfing, hiking and snow sports. Married for more than two decades, he has three children in and approaching their teenage years. Ryan is an avid reader and podcaster who also enjoys comedy shows, concerts, and karaoke.
