Ali Dang is passionate about using her deep experience in portfolio management and investment strategy to help clients build and preserve wealth. She thrives on translating complex financial concepts into thoughtful, effective strategies that support long-term financial goals.
Ali brings over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining EP Wealth, she was a portfolio manager at Buffington Mohr McNeal, where she specialized in equity research, manager selection, and trading. Prior to that, she served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan’s Treasury and Chief Investment Office in New York City, managing credit research, fixed income portfolios, and risk. She also spent several years at J.P. Morgan's London office as an FX trader and portfolio manager for European government bonds.
Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from The College of Idaho. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter holder and an active member of the CFA Society of Idaho. Ali also serves on The College of Idaho’s Business Advisory Council, contributing to the development of business education through mentorship and collaboration.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys cooking, oil painting, and traveling to new places. She lives in Boise with her husband, Tyler, and their son, Marcel. Deeply committed to her community, she actively volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho and considers Boise one of the best places to raise a family.
