Steve Kovach is passionate about guiding clients through the complexities of financial planning with integrity, clarity, and confidence. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he finds fulfillment in educating clients, developing strategic financial solutions, and being a trusted partner who puts their best interests first.

Steve has been in the investment industry since 1995, helping clients navigate through four major black swan market events, including the collapse of Long-Term Capital, the tech crash, the Great Recession and the COVID-19 pandemic. He began his financial career with Charles Schwab in Denver, Colorado, and later transferred to the Boise office in 2002.

Originally from East Lansing, Michigan, Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University in 1992. He also earned his CFP® designation in 2012.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys the outdoors with his high school sweetheart and wife. He’s an avid fly fisherman who also loves whitewater rafting and kayaking. Steve and his wife share a passion for hands-on projects, including converting a 1966 travel trailer to be more modern and working on a DIY van conversion. Steve values time with their two adult sons and looks forward to becoming a grandfather in the near future.
