Dan Potter is passionate about adding value to every client relationship and helping individuals simplify their financial lives. He takes pride in providing clear, thoughtful guidance that empowers clients to make informed financial decisions.
Dan began his career in financial services in 2006 as an internal wholesaler with Triple Net Properties, Inc., where he held a Series 7 license and raised capital through Broker-Dealer and Financial Advisory channels. He advanced to Regional Vice President in 2009 and later served as Senior Vice President at Griffin Capital Securities, LLC. In 2012, Dan transitioned into collegiate athletics, returning to his alma mater as assistant men’s golf coach at the University of Washington before becoming head men’s golf coach at Boise State University, where he led the program to historic NCAA Regional berths and oversaw significant facility and fundraising initiatives. He returned to financial services in 2022 as a Wealth Management Advisor at Buffington Mohr McNeal prior to joining EP Wealth Advisors in 2025.
Dan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, where he was also recognized as an All-Pac 10 Conference golfer.
Outside of his professional work, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors, especially golfing and skiing. He values time with his family and stays active with his three young daughters.
