Brett works directly with families, business owners, and foundations across the U.S., helping manage their wealth and resources while meeting their unique needs.
After beginning his career with Charles Schwab & Co., in Dallas, he helped launch a Schwab office in Santa Fe, NM. Brett later joined Merrill Lynch in Dallas as a pioneer in fee-based wealth management. Brett went on to serve as Vice President for True North Advisors, LLC, where he managed nearly $100 million in client assets. Brett partnered with International Research in 2007 to lead the firm into its next chapter of growth.
Brett received his B.A. from the University of Alabama and achieved the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC©) designation through the College for Financial Planning.
Brett enjoys spending time managing their family ranch in Central Texas, and traveling with his wife, Heather, and their five children – each of whom attend college in a different state. Brett is active in the Park Cities YMCA, and Heroes and Horses of Manhattan, Montana.
