Richard Tarroza had more than eight years of experience in securities trading when he joined EP Wealth Advisors in 2022. Richard’s previous responsibilities included serving as a data analyst at William Blair and as an Associate Trader at Crabel Capital Management. He chose a career in wealth management because of the opportunities it offers to acquire and share with clients financial knowledge that many are unaware of. He finds there’s no better feeling than being able to help others make smart investment decisions by providing them with meaningful advice and connecting them with colleagues who will help them carve a path towards a financially healthy future. A basketball and football enthusiast who grew up in Chicago, Richard naturally is a Bulls and Bears fan. Here in California he also enjoys hiking, swimming, and riding along the ocean bike path. He completed his first triathlon before the pandemic and looks forward to doing his first ironman in the near future. A less athletic future goal is to learn a new language and travel to that country. Richard also has volunteered his time at Project Angel Food—a Los Angeles food bank.
