Rachel Walters has more than seven years of experience in the financial services industry, and over ten in client services. She joined EP Wealth Advisors in 2021 after serving in roles that included relationship and financial center management responsibilities at Bank of America. Rachel’s clients include individuals who want to start planning for retirement, as well as those who are looking to retire in the next 5-15 years, particularly those who want to combine financial planning with asset management. She enjoys working with clients and hearing their different and unique stories while also uncovering their financial priorities and setting goals. Rachel is currently building on her capabilities as a CRPC™ (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™) professional by working to achieve her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. Rachel is passionate about community outreach and helping people reach their financial goals. She sees the power in every client interaction. Reaching out to the community, Rachel has facilitated and participated in financial literacy seminars for high school students and college students in the cities of Oakland and Berkeley. She also has volunteered at the Alameda County food bank and local churches to help with Thanksgiving and Holiday food drives and gift giveaways. A musician and a fan, Rachel enjoys attending local concerts and practicing her skills on the piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, violin and ukulele. She also likes watching the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.
