Joey Gonzales

Joey Gonzales fell into his financial services career by accident a number of years ago and never looked back. He joined EP Wealth Advisors in 2023. Joey started out as an art student studying Game Art & Design and working part-time as an office assistant for a boutique investment advisory firm. Eventually, he was offered a full-time position in marketing and decided to leave art school and pursue a career in the financial services industry. In this role, he utilized his creativity to bring in new business for the firm.

While working full-time, Joey earned his bachelor’s degree and found an opportunity to work for one of the fastest growing RIA firms in the country. In this role, he wore many hats and participated in various projects such as process improvement, process standardization, and CRM implementation to name a few. In addition, he helped manage the Support Services Team of 20+ employees and ensured newly opened branch offices were running smoothly. This experience has enabled him to handle complex problems and help companies streamline their processes.

In his spare time, you can find Joey perfecting his 10k run, sharpening his Excel skills, and of course he’s still a gaming nerd!
