Jim Fitzpatrick has been involved in the financial services industry for more than three decades. He joined EP Wealth Advisors in 2022, after a series of management roles including positions at Fidelity Investments and MetLife. A student of the capital markets, Jim—whose nickname is Fitz—is passionate about ensuring individuals and their families have a personalized financial plan or road map and work with a qualified financial advisor so they can attain their goals with more confidence and certainty. Over the course of his extensive career, Jim has always enjoyed leadership, coaching and development of individuals and teams, as well as working with the ownership and leadership of start-up entrepreneurial companies. Considered a leader, mentor and motivator, Jim has a proven track record for designing, creating and implementing programs resulting in higher-skilled and better-equipped financial advisors and planners. In addition to his numerous industry licenses and certifications, Jim has been recognized with a Distinguished Service Award from REISA, the national association of leaders in the alternative investments industry, and he earned MetLife’s Excellence Through Quality award. Residing in Mission Viejo with his wife, he enjoys boating, skiing, surfing, golfing, traveling, the great outdoors and cooking. Jim is also the proud father of twin girls Kaylee and McKenzi.
