Elmer Guerra Jr. had nearly three years of experience in the insurance sector when he focused his career on the wealth management area of the financial services industry. Elmer joined EP Wealth Advisors in 2021 after working with Aflac He’s excited by the opportunity to help people achieve financial freedom, plan for retirement. He’s also committed to continually enriching his own education in finance. Beyond work, Elmer enjoys spending time with his family, whether it’s watching movies, playing video or board games, or having a BBQ. He’s especially devoted to soccer. Before starting his career after college, Elmer played for the Under-20 El Salvador national team while also playing for California Baptist University. He also played for LA Galaxy Academy for about 4 years before going to college. He continues to help his old high school recruit and train players for their soccer team. And he educates them on how to make the transition from playing soccer full time to working full time—applying what they learn from being on the field to life and work.
