Estate Planner – Torrance, CA

EP Wealth Advisors, a wealth management firm is seeking an attorney with 6 – 10 years experience in estate planning and trust administration for high net worth clients.  This position will involve a variety of client-facing activities providing comprehensive service to existing clients. Estate Planner will be responsible for proactively engaging in firm-wide initiatives developing Estate Planning services and building firm relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in a collaborative environment, provide excellent service to a defined group of clients and support all business development and client retention activities
  • Provide advisory services to clients on estate tax planning, wealth and business succession planning, charitable planning, trust tax planning and assist in the preparation of estate documents
  • Meet with clients to draft appropriate documents including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives, advise on estate, gift, GST, charitable, business succession, and income tax matters
  • Collaborate with advisor teams to ensure clients objectives are being met as pertains to the estate planning or charitable needs
  • Review clients existing estate plans to determine if they are achieving their goals

Portfolio Management

Portfolio Manager – Torrance, CA

The Portfolio Manager works closely with Senior Portfolio Managers and advisors to manage investments of client accounts.  Create timelines and schedules for various department related merger activities

  • Participate in Investment Committee meetings
  • Work on model changes and rebalancing for non-Tamarac accounts
  • Recommends non-discretionary accounts
  • Monitor asset allocation of client accounts and conduct rebalancing utilizing trade order management system as necessary

The Client Service Support is responsible for assisting the client service team on account administration and sales support duties. This role performs administrative duties that support daily branch operations, including but not limited to, telephone coverage and document maintenance.

Mergers and Acquisitions Integrations Specialist – Torrance, CA

The M&A Integration Specialist provides administrative support for the firm’s merger and acquisition efforts, including assisting with project management and inter-department communication, meeting deadlines and ensuring a seamless transition of new teams into EPWA.
